Louis Marbel has over 35 years of experience in software and model-driven real-time systems architecture, and over 20 years of experience in designing knowledge based systems. Louis is founder and CTO of Interactive Design Labs (IDL™), a software products company, which provides products and tools for domain specific modeling and policy-based workflow resource management in business process management environments. IDL has pending patents on its policy-based workflow resource management technology.
Mr. Louis Marbel developed real-time control software while at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) to manage and control the automation of manufacturing devices and equipment including robots in manufacturing products at companies such as Ford, GM, Fiat, etc. Louis developed the architecture for a constrained based knowledge- based image recognition system used in automating lock-box processing.
Louis was also the technical lead at Delta Airlines where he designed and lead development of a CORBA based distributed infrastructure software used to manage the automated coordination of airline customer processing activities at the airport.
Mr. Marbel holds a Masters Degree in Engineering and Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh PA.
