Competition:   1) 18 hole individual low net score
Low Gross: Art Driscoll  83
Match Summary
Todays match featured the field under threat of heavy tropical rain
which never arrived. Although very windy,  it turned out to be a beautiful
morning while most of New England was pummeled by downpours &
tornado warnings.  Because of this, their were many cancellations, so
the course was wide open and led to a relaxed round completed in just
over 3 1/2 hours.

Today a first occurred in the summer series as there was a three way
tie for low net. Under tournament rules, all three players receive the full
10 first place points toward the championship match later this season
& a nice boost in the standings.

New comers Tony Itri & Steve Kelley pounded their drivers all day right
down the center stripe, while commissioner Morse lived off his putter &
agility around the greens.

Meanwhile Art Driscoll & Jack Jefferson came on during the back nine,
but just not enough to catch the rare trifecta.

And if you are ever down in Dennis on the Cape, visit Tony at the bar at
lovely Chapin"s Restaurant. Don't forget to mention you are one of the
