With just days to go before the PGA begins play here in the Deutsche Bank
Championship over Labor Day weekend in a FEDEX Cup event, our Software
Tour players took on the tough TPC of Boston & got their money's worth.

on Toughest Holes
Todays competitive match featured rough that was very deep but
uniform just  off the fairways & around the greens which made it
extremely tough to score. The players teed off from the 6800 yard black
tees with a huge 142 rating...and the scores showed it!

Next week, the PGA tour will play a Fedex Cup event here at TPC of
Boston on the TPC Tees at 7400 yards during the Deutsche Bank
Championship, proving to us again just how good those guys really are!

During the final match, eventual champion Vic Otero blasted out fast
with a super 43 on the front nine, and a 40 on the back to hold off Chuck
Morse & Mike Rozelsky who posted 41 & 42 on the back respectively.

Meanwhile in the other groups, the course took its toll on many of the
first time players who all held their own despite not knowing the course.
Oh & did I mention Larry Holland was viciously stung by a crazed bee
on the #11 wooden footbridge through the brush?

Thanks to all of who participated this year & look forward to next year
where we will have some new venues added to the series including
Halifax, Marshfield, Beverly, Norton CC, Lebaron Hills & Dennis Pines.
