Today's match featured two of the most unlikely golf events we have ever
seen....one amazing, one frightening!
First, Sammy Friedman, only 10 years old played like a young phenom
off the red tees and shot a 102! ( with an occasional mully ).
Nevertheless he actually pounded his drives between 130 - 165 yards off
the forward tees & a had quite a nice touch around the green.
However that did not even touch what happened on the par 5 8th fairway,
and what will probably scar poor young Sammy for life!

With about 230 yards to
the hole, and with golf
course workers on the left
side of fairway at about
130 yards, Sammy wound
up with a 4 wood and
hooked it dead`left toward
the unsuspecting workers.
As one guy looked up, the
ball took one solid bounce
off some hard pan and
blasted the poor guy right
in the..... bullseye - a direct
hit! Down to the ground
like a ton of bricks!!!
